Dodie Howard is celebrating her 9th year operating Dodie Howard Quarter Horses. Dodie has been showing horses for over 20 years now and training professionally for 11 years. Dodie holds an AAS in Equine Science, and has ridden with numerous top level trainers and strives to provide the best program to suit her non-pro and youth riders.
Dodie has started and trained hundreds of horses over the years. Most every young horse Dodie starts and trains makes it to the horse show ring successfully. Dodie has trained a World Champion, several World Show top tens, hundreds of state champions, and Congress top tens, finalists, etc.
Dodie specializes in top level hunter under saddle, western pleasure, and all-around horses. Dodie specializes in AQHA, but also campaigns NSBA, PHBA, APHA,PtHA, ApHC, and new for 2009 will campaign in NRHA events for a Rookie Professional title. The NRHA is a new venture for Dodie and she thanks all those believing in her in her new venture!! Dodie is having a blast traveling around and riding with some true NRHA professionals.
Dodie is a 5 yr. member of the AQHA professional horsemans assoc., and had an integral part in bringing the professional horsemans association to the state levels. She believes strongly in honesty, integrity and hard work in her program. Her customers are also her friends, and she believes in everyone, and respects everyone's goals and ambitions.
