ALWAYS IN THE MOOD
2003 Appaloosa Stallion

(The Hunter X Two Precious)

"Moody" was a "special horse" from the moment that he was born at Carousel Farm.  His mother, my outstanding show mare - Two Precious - waited for me to deliver her colt into my arms.  She gave birth to him standing up in the middle of our indoor arena and as we gently laid him on the ground on a pile of hay, I was beside myself with all of the color.  My boyfriend, Bill Mineker - commented - what color - he has spots all over him.  That is what is so exciting about the Appaloosa bred as you never know what is going to be produced by crossing any two horses.........it is always Christmas time when foaling season arrives as you never know what you are going to unwrap.

"Moody" is being raised to be an outstanding Western Pleasure type horse.  He has spent a couple of years in training, but has been shown on a limited basis.  He made the finals in the Two Year Old Snaffle Bit Western Pleasure Class in 2006, but did not make it to the Top 10.  He has a long show career ahead of him as a pleasure horse for Catherine Dunnagan.

"Moody" is being bred in 2007 to several mares that are owned by Carousel Farm as "test" runs to see what he might be capable of producing.  "Moody" is not being offered at stud to anyone outside of the farm.  Look for this colorful horse to appear on the Appaloosa Show Circuit in 2007 in the Western Pleasure classes.
